Childwatch International Central and Eastern Europe Regional Network is a supporting networking between child researchers in the East and Central Europe region. The Network is connected to the regional initiative on child poverty and welfare policies.

The 2008 workshop will focus on the impact of poverty and social exclusion on children’s lives and their well-being, compared to the 2007 workshop which focused on children’s experiences and their strategies for coping with poverty and social exclusion. The 2008 workshop will give special emphasis to health issues in this regard.
