The 'Our Voices' project is coordinated by the International Centre: researching child sexual exploitation, violence and trafficking at the University of Bedfordshire in the UK. It is a three-year, pan-European initiative funded by the Oak Foundation, the University of Bedfordshire and other supporters.

Norma del Rio from Research Program on Infancy and Childhood, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and Irene Rizzini from The International Center for Research and Policy on Childhood (CIESPI), both from Childwatch Key Institutions, have co-authored a new book, along with Maria de los Angeles Torres from the University of Illinois at Chicago, about the dedicated youth civic engagement and leadership in Chicago, Mexico City, and Rio de Janeiro.
The Participation and Environment Measure for Children and Youth, or the PEM-CY, is a new measurement tool designed to help parents, service providers and researchers better understand the participation of children and youth, ages 5 to 17. The developers are Wendy Coster from Boston University, Mary Law from CanChild, McMaster University, and Gary Bedell from Tufts University.

This report summarises the main findings that emerged from these consultations and incorporates the views of almost 600 children between the ages of 8 and 17 in Brazil, Ghana, Guyana, India, Kenya, Malawi and Russia. NOVA is a research institute under the auspices of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. The aim of the institute is to develop knowledge and understanding of social conditions and processes of change. We focus on issues of life-course events, level of living conditions and aspects of life-quality as well as on programmes and services provided by the welfare system.
The Children’s Issues Centre aims to make a difference in children’s lives by improving policy and practice relating to children, young people and their families/whānau. The Centre serves as an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, policy makers and students with an interest in advancing knowledge about children’s development, well-being and rights. The Centre's research, teaching and advocacy is underpinned by its commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and how this is honoured within Aotearoa New Zealand.
The CCYP promotes the status of children and young people in research, policy and practice. It brings together four important strands: an interdisciplinary approach; a focus on research, education and advocacy for children and young people; an emphasis on cross-sectoral partnerships to promote evidence-based policy and practice and the inclusion and participation of children and young people.
