HFC “Hope For Children” UNCRC Policy Center announces that on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child on 20 November 2014, is launching the ‘Chair of the UNCRC Policy Center’.
This is a new long-term research and development partnership between WorldVision, Save the Children Norway, UNICEF and Childwatch International. It is coordinated by the Children’s Environments Research Group (CERG) of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
This interdisciplinary conference aims to bring together scholars to explore key issues, opportunities and challenges in implementing the UNCRC. In particular we are interested in exploring the gap between children’s rights standards as set out by the UNCRC and the active implementation of the UNCRC rights within States Parties.
