Call for Abstracts for a special issue of Children, Youth and Environments on Greening Early Childhood Education. The purpose of this special issue is to explore settings that provide nature experiences for young children, with attention to the effect that these initiatives have on the holistic development and environmental awareness of the children involved, their teachers, and staff. The objective of this project was to create a framework that included monitoring and reporting guidelines for reporting on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, linking children’s rights within the human rights context to environmental and health rights through the harmonisation of various monitoring and reporting systems.
