The Latin American and Caribbean regional network of the Childwatch International Research Network are organizing its 5th International Conference with a focus on the contexts and lives of children in the region. The specific objectives of this event are:
- Reflect and discuss the quality of life of children and young people in the region
- Share the Childwatch International regional network's research projects on children's rights
- Share results of the research on the quality of life of the Research Program on Quality of Life at the University of Lomas de Zamora
- Promote research on children, their quality of life and rights for junior researchers.
- Facilitate formation of thematic research networks in the region.
The conference program includes panel discussions on a wide range of child research issues specific to the region as well as presentations of research done by young researchers and presentations of the latest publications by the regional partners.
