Quality of Life and the Rights of Children and Adolescents in Latin America

The Childwatch International regional network in Latin America and the Caribbean are organizing its 5th international conference this year. The conference is co-organized with the Research Program on Quality of Life of the Argentinian National University of Lomas de Zamora in Greater Buenos Aires. The quality of life of children and young people is focus of the event.    

The Latin American and Caribbean regional network of the Childwatch International Research Network are organizing its 5th International Conference with a focus on the contexts and lives of children in the region. The specific objectives of this event are:

  1. Reflect and discuss the quality of life of children and young people in the region
  2. Share the Childwatch International regional network's research projects on children's rights
  3. Share results of the research on the quality of life of the Research Program on Quality of Life at the University of Lomas de Zamora
  4. Promote research on children, their quality of life and rights for junior researchers.
  5. Facilitate formation of thematic research networks in the region.

The conference program includes panel discussions on a wide range of child research issues specific to the region as well as presentations of research done by young researchers and presentations of the latest publications by the regional partners.
