Extended deadline for Board Nominations

A new Board is to be elected at the Childwatch International Key Institutions Assembly, 3 - 4 December 2009. The deadline for the Call for Nominations has extended until November 6th, to allow all Key Institutions to nominate suitable candidates.

A new 10 member Board will be elected at the coming Key Institutions Assembly, which takes place in Addis Ababa in conjunction with the global child rights and research conference Children's Rights at a Cross-Roads. All Key Institutions are invited to participate in the Assembly, 3 - 4 December of this year. A Call for Nominations has been sent out to all Key Institutions of the network, who are encouraged to submit their nominations by the new deadline.

Each Key Institutions represented at the Key Institutions Assembly has one vote. Five of the members of the present Board are elegible for re-nomination and are willing to serve for another term.
