The Girl Child Conference was organised by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry for Youth and Families, the Ministry of Health, Welfare & Sport, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, and the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre.
