International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth Poverty Practice, Bureau for Development Policy, UNDP has published a bulletin with focus on the East Africa Food Crisis.

Large parts of East Africa are facing a food crisis of huge proportions. More than 12 million people in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and the newly-formed Republic of South Sudan have been left in need of food, water and emergency healthcare because of one of the worst droughts in 60 years. This edition of the Inclusive Growth Bulletin addresses the major challenges for achieving inclusive and sustainable growth in the Region as well as in other developing countries.
