‘Brain, Mind and Development’ The 20th World IACAPAP Congress

The theme for this congress, represents a shift in focus from ‘processes’ for child mental health advancement, which formed the basis of the themes for the last three congresses in the previous decade and the first in this one, to scientific advancement and breakthroughs that will lay the foundations for better understanding of and caring for the mental health problems of children in future.

The "INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY AND ALLIED PROFESSIONS" (IACAPAP) is an association organized to promote the study, treatment, care and prevention of mental and emotional disorders and deficiencies involving children, adolescents and their families. The emphasis is on practice, research and collaboration between child psychiatrists and the allied professions of psychology, social work, pediatrics, public health, nursing, education and social sciences.
