- an update of the intercountry adoption reforms in Vietnam and of the presentation by ISS of the Guidelines to the African Committee on the Rights and Welfare of the Child;
- a brief analysis of the judgment of the ECtHR on the access for same-sex couples to second parent adoption in Austria as well as the presentation of a Comparative Law Study of the French Senate dealing amongst others with this issue;
- ISS/IRC travels to Russia where a recent law introduced the compulsory training of prospective adoptive parents.
