I International Scientific and Practical Conference: "Deprivation of children at risk: educational technology of prevention, rehabilitation and support"

This conference aims to discuss the problems and achievements of foreign and domestic science and practice in prevention, intervention, rehabilitation, and support for children at risk. DATES: 14-15 November 2013. VENUE & LOCATION: MGPPU (Moscow State University of Psychology and Education)  

Welcome to the first international conference dedicated to one of the pressing issues for children and young people at risk - development of personal adaptive capacity. The conference will take place at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education on 14th and 15th of November 2013.

This conference aims to discuss the problems and achievements of foreign and domestic science and practice in prevention, intervention, rehabilitation, and support for children at risk. Academicians and child practitioners are invited to allocate cross-cultural factors in the ecological systems of children at risk, which are contributing to the development of personal and educational potential and create resilience. There is a necessity to push forward ideas to international and local communities about new preventive technologies of rehabilitation and support for children at risk that promote personal and educational potential and generate resilience.

During the conference there will be:
• discussion of the results of scientific research in the field of deprivation and attachment disorders of children
• analysis of current challenges of training in preventing and overcoming child abandonment
•community awareness about the new technologies of prevention, rehabilitation and support for children at risk, and technologies to help children who are in conflict with the law
•analysis of the best practices of  intervention and support of vulnerable children;

Lectures and master classes by leading foreign and domestic scientists and practitioners to be organized during the conference.

There is a special need for theorists, academicians and practitioners, whose professional activities and research interests are related to the study of socio-psychological problems of children at risk, to meet and learn from one another, to deepen the impact of their respective work.

Dear colleagues, you are kindly invited to share your professional knowledge and practical experience by either participating in the conference as audience and/or by contributing your research (registration form).

Publication of conference reports is planned in a special collection edition (including the assignment of codes ISBN, UDC and BBK) according to the results of the Conference. Distribution of the subscribed author's copies of the collection will be made up to 31 December 2013. Summary of the reports will be available from the electronic version of the edition at the Internet site of the Conference by December 1, 2013. Materials for publication (up to 12 pages) should be sent (along with the application for participation in the conference see registration form) by July 1, 2013 (inclusive).
