Research for Action: cross-national perspectives on connecting knowledge, policy and practice for children.

Cross-case analysis of six child welfare case studies on how research findings can effectively be put into use

The book Research For Action brings together cross-case analysis of six child welfare case studies- from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Israel, South Africa and the United States by different researchers and practitioners affiliated with policy research centers from several countries. It develops an insight into how research findings can effectively be put into use, having an enhanced impact on policy, practice and the well-being of children and youth around the world. It also highlights the importance of developing perspectives for different policy and cultural environments, whilst emphasizing issues that are applicable across borders.
