NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of the Child

The NGO group was originally formed in 1983 when members of the NGO Group were actively involved in the drafting of the Convention. Since the adoption of the Convention, the NGO Group has been supporting the work of national and international NGOs as well as the Committee on the Rights of the Child to monitor and implement the Convention and its Optional Protocols.
