Children's Research Centre, Open University, London

The Children's Research Centre at the Open University in the UK supports children to carry out their own research on topics that are important to them. The centre's web site includes presentations of children's own research and useful resources when supporting and promoting children's research.

The Children's Research Centre's primary objective is to empower children and young people as active researchers. In teaching children and young people how to design and carry out their own research on issues that are important to them the centre works to promote children's voices and perspectives. The Children's Research Centre is based at the Open University in Milton Keynes. I offers a taught programme on all aspects of the research process followed by one-to-one support to design and carry out a research project.

The Children's Research Centre web site gives further details.
